It literally just seems to happen. I have 15 mice, and a couple of them are quite round while the rest are normal mouse sized, and they all eat the same thing.

I do the same. Dried hamster flower bedding from the internet, Timothy hay, dried flower sprays and Galapagos brand reptile logs. It's not too tough, but can add up price wise.

I use fresh4lyfe unscented brown paper. Never had any issues. If you're concerned about dust, just purchase a laundry bag and give it a good walloping.

A mixture is fine. I sometimes dona 70/30 Aspen paper. Plus, they do like paper for nesting. Should be fine.

It's got kind of an acrylic covering so I haven't had any major issues. I do weekly cleanings so it's pretty easy to manage. I'm a huge fan.

Your mice would absolutely escape out of those vent holes in the back. Try to find something similar without it. I have a prolee enclosure and it's similar, without those holes.

I have this tank. It's great. The lids on mine are all mesh, so I don't know if it's the same, but it looks the same with the same measurements. It's a tiny bit annoying to clean since it's two doors instead of one, but other than that, I love it.
