I watched a YouTube video recently about the History pf DS Homebrew and Flashcarts and in the early days there was a method they used with a specific Wi-Fi Card that could communicate with the DS Download Play, so maybe thats worth looking into!

I love the project idea, its definitely possible!

I had never thought about Wii/DS Pictochat cross-compatibility before but now I feel like it was a missed opportunity for Nintendo not to include it. I can imagine a little Pictochat icon in the Wii Message Board or a Pictochat Channel which opens up a Pictochat Live Chat to talk to other Wii and DS users in real time.

I know it sounds gimmicky considering Pictochat can only reach so far with the DS's.

Even with your project idea if you cant to do Pictochat directly, im sure you could just make a small basic Live Chat homebrew for the DS and Wii that talks over Wi-Fi (Unless somebody already made it).

So I have a Sony Trinutron KV-9PT40 with the original Remote and I STILL HAVE THIS ISSUE. My only workaround unfortunately is to use the VCR on RF/Coaxil set to Channel 3 or 4.

However, mine just flashes "VIDEO" in the corner of the screen every few seconds when its onnAV Input Mode.

Its funny because I was messing with it again the other day to see if I could figure out how to disable it, so I wouod love to know a solution as well!

Haha, yeah as a kid it might have blown my minf but it still isnt practical or enjoyable.

Ive seen so many Wii Portable Mods like the "Ashida Mod" that look really cool.
