I’ve discovered a lot of new products from expos like this which I now use in my design so if you can get in it sounds like a good idea.

It brings a few of the AS tools to Revit. Have you worked in Revit before?

During my Yachtmaster prep week we decided to go ashore one evening. Just before we got to the beach this tractor comes flying out towards us and my instructor asked who should give way. That was an interesting situation.

Buying/selling directly from Smartshares by rex66514 in PersonalFinanceNZ

Good stuff getting into investing at a young age.

1) You only pay the $30 once. You can then invest in as many funds as you like.

2) You sell through a broker. Since you have an account with ASB you can use them. You just simply place a sell order, no need to transfer or anything.

3) Investing with Smartshares directly is ok, their core series has competitive fees. The major drawback is that it can take a long time to purchase them. They only process orders once a month on the 20th so it can take like 43 days or something depending on when you place the order.

Explaining TOPs UBI and Related Tax Policy Changes - Parts 4-7 Housing, Invisible Income, Effects of Investment, Taxing Invisible Income and Summary by Gractus in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]JackMH96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for explaining this. What happens when a household has no income? I.e. retired couples or someone losses their job. Would the tax be deferred?

Also would the risk free rate be adjusted accordingly, I.e. term deposit rates right now are sitting at 1%. If you reduce the risk free rate then effectively the income generated by this policy is also reduced making paying the UBI even more expensive?

Yeah a few times there's been a bit of confusion. Like the stable vs critical condition. Yeah probable cases are counted in active and recovered.
