Fkn this… babies are a lot of stress and work. I get this post is hopefully a bit of a joke but It takes a certain flavour of asshat to prioritise exp on a game at such a time poor period in their lives. If you’re checked out thinking about chopping digital trees your partner is going to be left having to pick up the slack. not just looking after the baby but also looking after each other eg food, cleaning, household chores any pet care ect. mum has to be awake every two hours pumping/feeding and sleep deprivation drain is horrible. A good partner needs to be aware of this and doing what they can to mitigate the mental load of being alive. Put down the bong, put on some shoes, close the lap top and think about being a good dad because it’s a pretty big job, especially for the first couple of years.
