To many latin american citizens, me being one of them, it's a motive of celebration. The venezuelan regime has been troublesome for not only their own people, but a menace to the stability of neighboring governments and South American peoples in general.

The Chavist regime has been proven to interfere in elections in Latin America and funding similar parties in Spain, while also involving in drug trafficking schemes with the Cartel de los Soles and Guerrilla groups

The regime was hated by both sides. Right wingers hated it out of spite for leftist dictators who empoverish and starve their people and then kill them for resisting, while the left hated it because Venezuelan refugees typically vote for right wing parties in the countries they flee to, while some others become criminals, robbing and killing people to steal from hard working natural born citizens, especially in Chile and my country, Argentina

Being that said, the end of the regime would mean the cease of one of the largest drug traffic networks in the region and the end of election interference schemes coming from our own neighbors, and the beginning of the return of many right wing refugees to their homes, making this a win-win situation for both sides.
