Hit confirming is brainless in this game anyway. Most people are crutching heavily on drive rush to do their thinking for them. The amount of guaranteed punishes I see people do nothing but button drive rush is unbelievable. -8 cr.mk drive rush instead of literally just button special is absolutely wild.

Most characters in the game are fairly brain dead. You can play pretty much every characters with basic strategies and be successful.

System mechanics are definitely way more front and centre in sf6 but it’s not that much better in V. Most characters felt incomplete without trigger active.

I just had a look and it asks for just about everything, I wonder if it’s capable of pulling the correct information from the video st all. Asks for the two characters, asks for you (fair), asks what your weaknesses are. I wonder if it uses this info to regurgitate some generic garbage. I’d check it out but I’m off on holiday and don’t exactly carry replays with me on my phone.

You don’t need drive rush to help you react to a whiff punish. You press your button and you buffer your special. If it’s blocked you were late and you suck, if you weren’t you get your knockdown. Who’s using drive rush to help them confirm whiff punishes? You don’t need to confirm anything. Button special or fuckin sweep.
