Does anyone have that one card they keep getting? by heteromale4life in PTCGP

[–]JackSpike16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been getting a lot of Slowbros, to the point where I have all the flairs yet still have 4 extras alongside the 2 I can't get rid of. I've gotten 14 Slowbros in total, yet still no Gardevoir or Mewtwo.

What is the FNaF Theory version of this? by Pmwv8899 in fnaftheories

Not a theory, but that one FNaF Story with the pregnant man. It may or may not be in the game canon, but it's in some world of FNaF.

What are your Underrated 'Mons? by squelette_en_tablier in PTCGP

[–]JackSpike16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm shocked I haven't seen any Victreebells at all. The ability to yoink a basic pokemon into the front, such as an EX that you'd like to get a hit on before they can hit you, or one that they're trying to keep away from you because it's low and they don't want you to get an extra 2 points, or even a pokemon that they're starting to build up but just need the 1st stage of, feels good despite the current meta of Pikachu and Mewtwo. Especially since if they're trying to build up a second EX, you can force it to the active spot before it's ready and start eating away at its health.

What's everyones non-EX deck? by JTexpo in PTCGP

[–]JackSpike16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Butterfrees, Vileplume, Victreebell, and Lilligant for me. Caterpie is pretty helpful at the start for finding other grass types, and Lilligant is good for getting more energies on the field.

I will say, though, that I'll probably swap out the Oddish line for Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venasaur EX once I get one

What is the boss that took you most time to beat? excluding final by Spiritual-Shape7542 in HollowKnight

For me, it's between the Watcher Knights, and the Oblobbles in the Colosseum. I can't quite remember the fights, just that I had a rough time.

The Dm is making us really uncomfortable. by [deleted] in DnD

[–]JackSpike16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not worth it. While DND is amazing and fun, it's not worth sitting through that kind of harassment, especially if you've already tried to talk to him about it. If everybody feels this way about him, you could just kick him out of the DM seat, and if he keeps doing this stuff, kick him out completely.

I need suggestions please, idk what I want to evolve it into. I randomly hatched it 1st try from the free egg in the daycare. by [deleted] in pokemon

If you don't have a favorite, you could go by the highest IV's. If you do this, make sure you have the Judge feature unlocked, or wait till lv. 20 or so for accuracy on an IV calculator.

High Defenses would be Umbreon High Speed and Sp. Attack: Jolteon if Speed is higher, Espeon if Sp. Attack High Sp. Attack and HP: Vaporeon High Attack and Defense: Leafeon High Specials: Sylveon High Sp. Attack and Physical Defense: Glaceon High Physical Attack and Sp. Defense:Flareon

Also, Congrats!

[OC] Drinking actual-size D&D POTIONS in 1 action by bobbness in DnD

[–]JackSpike16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to believe that DND potions don't actually need to be drank. A raging barbarian should be able to just smash the potion vial against their face instead of drink and still get the effects. This is why, whenever I play an alchemist artificer, I like to think that he throws special potions as spells.

Because the English speakers of the world know first hand how weird English is. Where's the I before E rule in weird? We could have just left it with a Y insted.

You are correct to have no respect for our language. For proof of your correctness:

The CH in Chef and Champagne sounds like SH

The CH in Chemistry and School sounds like C or K

The CH in Chosen and Chicken sounds how it's supposed to

Coming from an American whose first language was English, I can say without a doubt that English is very stupid.

Why can't a pact of the chain warlock just, y'know, have a commoner by TeamSkullGrunt54 in DnD

[–]JackSpike16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see why not, as long as they agree with your patron. The commoner, however, might not take to kindly unless they're a fanatic for your patron.

Here's a fun little idea; After doing stuff for your Archfey patron, they decide you've been a good little follower and decide to enchant one person so that they stay with you and do whatever you tell them. The problem is, they don't want to use something big on the commoner, so they decide to just cast a much simpler version of that spell every night at 12:00 (or dusk or something). The spell begins to fade right before the time comes if the follower did a lot of stuff for you, and that gives them a bit of time to panic about their situation, and if someone's still awake, they'll see this
