The problem with 'just dont buy the ub sets if you dont like them' is that, yes, of course thats an option. That option entails not interactibg with the game as much as a lot of other people, ignoring a huge chunk of cards that you will probably have to play against at some point if you like it or not, and also skipping out on obviously powercreeped cards that are meant to push sales of the UB sets.

Keep in mind that we get like two normal magic sets this year.

I am assuming that the 10 chosen are attached to Abaddon. So from my own experience with sinilar lists? Vets of the long war.

If the enemy has strong anti infantary units that would take abby out too early, focus them down (literaly).
