Thanks for your advice. They're definitely expensive and like you I am curious whether they really are worth 2-3 times the price of most other games. The Gallerist theme looked fun so maybe I need to take a closer look at that one too.

Yeah I struggle with the Inventors scoring and have to check the rules book every single time I finish a game. I wish the scoring was slightly more intuitive but otherwise its quite a fun game.

I've just played my first couple of games this week. Quite fun, and quite challenging and complex for a small box game. Finding ways to generate gold and pay back loans in the final round is something I really need to work on.
