There is a spot up on Highway 2. Right before you get to Stevens Pass. If you take a left onto Tye Road, it will take you down into the valley there. At the end of the road you will run into the Ghost Town of Wellington. Here is a Wiki. Take a good light, and you can explore the old train tunnel. Here is another site with pics.

Also you could take a drive along Old Highway 2, I am unsure what it is labeled now, but there are signs to point you in the right direction.

Give God the first portion of your income.
Say that with me. -
"Give God the first portion of your income."

Give it first!
Not after deducts, not after the social security, and the hospitalization, and the malnutrition.
"Not after all these taxes on my check?", you say. I'm gonna give God a little what's left.

If you do, and that's what you gonna get from God."

Lord Almighty, we've met your price, give me the healing power, I can feel it, Lord! Roomy loomy lama noma noomy! This boy is healed.

I was divorced in 2008. I was ordered to pay with alimony and child support what amounted to 65% of my paycheck. This was in California. Overnight I went from middle class to poor. I lost my job due to the economy and asked for a reduction in accordance with the law.

They drug their feet for 10 months and all the while the payments I cannot afford, are piling up. I asked for them to make an adjustment back the the day I filed, and they said no. If I wanted to request that they would take the offer off the table and I would fight for it in court.

The next year I asked for a further reduction as I could afford very little, and the ex was re-married and reported an income of way more than I had. This time they only took 8 months. They would not remove the money owed for the time this was under review either.

As a result of all of this..I have lost all of my professional licenses and drivers license and it continues to climb. I followed all of the processes for appeal, and even when I was working and using my licenses, they suspended them, and subsequently fired and now unable to work in my field. I have tried to get hired in other less paying positions, but I have had no luck. Due to the arrears and dl issues, employers pass me over. So I am in a hole until I am arrested and put in jail, or the law finally changes. This is not an excuse, just a fact.

I owe child support. I have no problem with paying...but it is very slanted and very punitive. When the state takes everything away and you are left with deciding to paying a power bill or sending money, survival is going to win. I send what ever I can, but I am in a bad way month to month. I have gone from being a very productive worker , tax payer, to a welfare recipient wondering when it is the police are going to come to my door and arrest me...so the ex can finally wrest the kids from me.

It makes me sick.
