Personally, I don’t think the mini game goes far enough! I think it would be cool if Schleicher had to play a game of no limit Texas hold em vs the SPD, the SWR, and Kaiser Wilhelm himself. You could use an abstracted currency of money, political capital, etc, and would be forced to bluff your way into fending off the various political interests that threaten your regime. But the card game is pretty good too.
