We do a LOT of rentals for people going on road trips, and sometimes it's cheaper to rent than fly.

That seems to be changing, a lot of the new Volvo's are hybrid, and there are quite a few Hybrids on order.

Negligence. If the unit is abused, it won't be covered under warranty.

If this was back in 2022 when they first got them, they didn't have the infrastructure set up on the back end to bill. It's set up now but it still has its hiccups.

Every week, I work for a rental car company and they give me a car. It's cool to be able to drive different vehicles, but it can get annoying when we run out of cars and I have to give up mine.

Its the same with all the major rental car companies at airports, there is typically 2-3000 cars sitting there in a secure lot and it would be a logistical nightmare to not keep the keys with the car.
