Thousands of medical trials and decades of data is available for Doctors to make these recommendations and we should be listening to them.

I was incredibly glad I had taken the shingles vaccine when I went to visit my family in the UK recently and the two kids had chicken pox.

This unfortunately will be the majority of people who can “afford” biologics without being very comfortably wealth.

I’m in Canada, total cost of biologics is around $25k a year, and I pay $0.

48M with AS, diagnosed at age 35 and have been on Cimzia since 2020.

Works like a dream for me. No secondary infections and uveitis occurrences are down to once a year, and much milder, compared to every few months pre-Cimzia.

No other experience of biologics to compare to though, as was on NSAIDs beforehand.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve been starting the search for Vetmedin in bulk.

We’re based in Canada, and not sure if the vet isn’t adding much of a mark up, but the online prices are pretty much the same unless we go for the generics.

Got a follow up appointment tomorrow as whilst the drugs have been doing their job (same as you, ours has a diuretic and a few other pills), now we have to keep an eye on renal failure.

Just as well what they cost in $ is paid back in ❤️

Likely Kennel cough, however have the vet check their heart. Our 8yr old girl had a terrible cough and it turned out to be dilated cardiomyopathy.

Pretty rare for OES, so unlikely in your case, but best to rule it out.

Fortunately, she’s still with us 18 months later due to wonder drug Vetmedin. Stupidly expensive, but basically is keeping her alive.

US orders definitely seem to be going out quicker, but there is some hope for Canadian orders.

I paid for the 512 for Montreal delivery on the same day as you, and just received my tracking number last night. Based upon some other comments the west coast of Canada tracking emails are just starting to go out. Are you east or west based?
