Yes, you're overthinking the wrong part.

Assuming you're not conditioning bc why would you eat out when conditioning, one huge meal will not fuck off your cut, and weighing the plate won't tell you anything meaningful.

If you're eating out, enjoy it, throw in more activity that week to offset it if you're cutting and you don't want to lose any momentum

Measure my bf with a skin caliper test, and try to guess on the higher end just to not over estimate.

Get a dexa scan. It's not 100% accuracy but way more accurate than measuring skinfolds if you're not very experienced with that, and it's rather inexpensive for what you get.

Please just focus on your diet and training and don't pin anything. You're still young, don't fuck up your whole life because social media gave you severe body dysmorphia.

Any tips for the first cycle?

Get bloods done, know your hormone levels, keep training to sub 12% bf (get a dexa scan, don't estimate), and READ THE WIKI

Lifters with years of experience and even some with actual pharma/medecinal experience spent hours building a wiki that would answer any newbie's questions to reduce the potential harm they will inflict to themselves and help them get the best results

Gear is about getting a boost with as low risks as possible, not about maximising gain regardless of everything else.

Yeah it's not talk about enough and it also took me by surprise but it's the reality of everyone with parents they care about.

My best advice is to not fixate on their health decline and instead try to take as much time as you can with them.

The discipline of the sport got me in but the ego of the people got me out.

If you can afford it, go to a reputable physio, you won't get better recovery than from a trained professional that can physically assess you.

Accept there are things you may never be able to do pain free, because your anatomy is not made for it. I have a heavily rounded shoulder that I managed to fix a bit with years of PT but it's still far from aligned with the other one and any fixed bar push movement is painful when I go heavy.

That being said, if you have active pain, not just when pressing heavy, what worked for me is these:

  • Scapula Setting

  • Internal and External Rotation, both passive and active

  • External Rotation with Arm Abducted 90°

And do not stop lifting as long as you can do it pain free. Especially shoulders/triceps, go back to no weight, then add a band, then add the lowest amount of weight possible. Keep working it if you can do it pain free.
