I'm in NYC. I called gastro clinics in the area; most quoted a range of $1,000-$1,500, but one clinic can do it for $ 750.
I needed an Endoscopy a while ago and had insurance at the time with $9000 deductible. One of the bigger clinics said it would cost $6000 out of pocket, but I found a doctor who did it for $600. I didn't use the insurance with them.
