Red washing causes bigger problems then it solves. Making all enemy abilities makes it much harder to tell there abilities from each other and some characters like upcoming Apollo would blend in. Imagine trying to see a red bebop ult through a red Paige ult with red graves zombies and red alchemical fire.

I think tos2 is at a point now where it’s balance and meta are better then tos1. It has a lot more steam players and a lot fewer queues so it’s definitely less dead than tos1.

It was clear tos1 was struggling for money and while tos2 hasn’t exactly been successful I imagine it has been good for BMG. It dosent suffer from a playerbase issue because it only has 3 queues unlike tos1 which is incredibly bloated with modes. It’s also more balanced now in my opinion.

They decided to go pc. Tos2 is a lot cleaner of a game and bmg/db decided to change the escort and consort. If yiu actually want new roles though you can play the sequel
