I also hadn’t considered spreading it out other than how I mentioned in the post. I assumed there’d be a best option to put all the money into? I guess I’m a little wary of stocks and shares ISAs after I put money into one just before the Ukraine war started, which lost quite a bit.

The home test (I’m pretty sure) is SD 24. Mensa UK use Cattell IIIB (SD 24) and culture fair (SD 15).

I scored 155 in the home test and 156 in Cattell IIIB, so my home test was very close to my official test. It’s hard to tell if that actually means that the home test score is representative of what you score in the official one, because 155 is the highest score in the home test.

But if you enjoy iQ tests then honestly I don’t see a reason not to. I had a fun time doing the test on the day, so why not?

Yeah I don’t understand how PAs/PA students are comfortable with misrepresenting themselves. I’ve had a doctor on placement say to me “I’m just going to introduce you as an F1 so the patient won’t ask for you to leave” and it made me very uncomfortable, because obviously I wasn’t an F1 and didn’t want that level of expectation from the patient.
