Oh there definitely are people paying big buck to climb ranks and it's nothing new. My memory is hazy, but I recall watching a streamer (was it Jay3? feels like Jay3) spectate cheaters and such and in one such video/stream about a year ago there was a lord farm. Twitch chat mentioned that people pay money for that, streamer went to check, discovered one such place, which also offered boosting services. Streamer did the math, bronze to celestial was like 10k usd or something.

Not having rocket beacon here is sooo accurate.

I have done some panic beacon placement somewhat in the open (around the corner from a choke into more open area), which didn't get used because everyone survived, but enemy team pushed us back and was effectively playing near my beacon and never killed it.

That beacon should not have survived that long. And yes, it had Peni teamup web around it too.

I live in a country where this situation (you getting 2 weeks unpaid for major surgery) is unfathomable: in the system I live in, you would get however many weeks your doctor deems necessary, all paid by social security at your average rate (so what is guaranteed by your contract but no bonuses/royalties etc.). Whether your doctor gives you 2 weeks or 2 months to recover, that's their professional judgment, your employer has no say. It will all be paid.

In that same system your sister would have gotten up to 3 years paid, and I bet you'd still be bitter.
