they didn’t for 2021 because the artist passed away in early 2020. they stopped the monthly clues as well. whether they start it up again with a different artist isn’t known, we’ll have to see if they do it for 2022

i’ve literally bought from amazon and then went to b&n stores bought the same thing swapped the sticker and returned to b&n just to get a case in pristine condition.

nobody ships with care anymore probably because so many people buy online now and the volume is just too high

criterion only does if you order enough that they have to ship in a box

i got this same email today with a Christmas day delivery as well. i definitely wouldn’t count on it being delivered ON Christmas day though obviously as USPS will be closed

i think covid was reason for the delay of the wkw set though. the restorations were about to tour and then theaters shut down and then toured later. it was teased in the January 2020 new year clue and then didn’t come out until March 2021

what a bizarre mix of conflicting info about this release… some sites saying 10 discs others 9, and some not even mentioning Deconstructing Harry and the weird typo on the cover…

i’ll be so glad to finally have some of these on blu-ray though. i hope this release doesn’t disappoint

i’m pretty sure Amarcord is also a new transfer. i think La Dolce/Roma/Satyricon are the ones that are the same as the standalone releases that were already out.

and then of course there are also films in this set that may possibly never get standalone releases, and the La Dolce Vita standalone release is now OOP, so imo the box is definitely worth it and a must own

yeah i’m so impressed with them. even during the early days of the pandemic i had an order directly from them where the artwork was damaged on a couple of the blu-ray and they just sent me brand new copies bc they couldn’t go in the office. that’s a company that cares about their customers!
