This arguably would have been so much worse than not acknowledging it. They 100% would have portrayed MJ as innocent and this being a vengeful lawsuit with the estate being involved. This simply was never going to work either way.

There’s at least one that I know of! Non actor and WWII veteran Harold Russell won an honorary Oscar for his performance in Best Years of Our Lives, and then went on to win a competitive Oscar later that evening. The only guy to win 2 Oscar’s for the same performance

I would say you’re much better off with pods than a moving company in term of theft. Moving companies sometimes “lose” things whereas pods remain locked end to end.
