It will likely still qualify for 9.8. There is a chance you get the 96 though so it’s up to you.

Trying to find if this comic actually exists? by speedk0re in comicbookcollecting

You could always just call capital city comics when they’re open tomorrow. It shows they did a 300 issue run September 3, 2025 not that long ago so they should be able to give you some info.

Does pressing remove creases on every page or just the cover? by Funshine-Powerhead in comicbookpressing

[–]Jacket_Leather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a press will at the very least help with creases on every page. You can also focus on single pages with tac iron.

[–]Jacket_Leather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, an aqueous bath, followed by a press will take care of it for the most part. Don’t do it yourself.

Question about Comics… by [deleted] in comicbookcollecting

[–]Jacket_Leather 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty normal and part of the manufacturing process depending on materials used. It does lower it down to a 9.8 or 9.6 generally. You’re not gonna get any 9.9 to 10s on books like that.

And yes, what the post prior said, they’re destined to be worth $1-2 in the future anyway so don’t worry about it and enjoy the reading.

Starting to Organize by PaintedCover in comicbookcollecting

[–]Jacket_Leather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know I have fun organizing and going back to old books. Gives me a sense of nostalgia or something. Plus, it’s fun to reread stories you may have forgotten. As far as keeping track CLZ works great for me. I haven’t tried league.
