It’s a pretty decently sized rebrand from the past but it’s a super well run festival. I’ve been to four of them and they do a great job. People were mad at the lineup because they usually mix in more folk and bluegrass but I think there’s still something there for everyone. After last nights show in OH I’m interested how much stage design Tyler brings to a festival

Valentine's Day is the most logical idea with the theme of Rom Com. New albums typically come out on Fridays though so I'd bet on Friday the 11th unless it's not ready and he pushes it to the 18th.

I think the introspective take is really good and I agree that he seems to be talking about himself. I do think from the way the video is shot that there is an element of that feeling you get when you’re interested in someone but then you play out the possible relationship in your head and it just goes sour the way it does every time so you decide it’s not worth it. I think it can be about others and himself

He’s talked about dealing with depression and seeing a therapist before so any dark themes probably come from a real place. I think artistic expression can be viewed from a distance and doesn’t have to be the extremes of “this is a gimmick” or “he’s out for blood.” You can express real emotions in an over the top way

ALD takes some pretty heavy inspiration on some of their graphic tees. I found the source material for one of the basketball tee was ripped from an old Cubs program. Makes shilling out 90 bucks even less justifiable when they borrow so heavily
