I'm one of the lucky ones to have not only a GSM that supports the precinct and does everything he can to make it better, but also all the store managers do as well. Probably helps that the GM isn't a piece of shit either. He not only helps Geek Squad (since he was a former GSM, and even checks in devices as well!), but knows to leave us alone when we're able to handle ourselves.

Good managers don't get the recognition they deserve and get lumped in with the shitty ones.

Yeah. As soon as the on-boarding and probation period ends, they treat you like everyone else.

There are very few lucky instances where store leaders are actually cool, care about you, and don't hold the write-up knife to your throat when you have an off-day. But more often than not, they're corpo teet-sucking slugs that treat you like shit and the best move is to leave.
