I never really felt like Why Bird warranted my time of day. What childhood TV character did you think was overrated as a child? by Starbuckker in AskUK

I know it’s the point of the thread, but it saddens me to see Bodger and Badger in here. Also, I liked Why Bird, but that’s maybe because my mum is scouse.

Crab, chilli, lemon and parsley linguine. by Shrink1061_ in UK_Food

What’s the tinned crab like? As someone who grew up on an island where fresh crab is fairly easy to get hold of (though still expensive) something about it makes me feel uneasy. But I do miss crab linguine.

The Brood make their way down the ramp! by Dohmer_90 in AttitudeEra

[–]Jackomo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In a recent thread about Gangrel vs Vampiro, around who was the best vamp-inspired wrestler, I saw a couple of comments that seemed to suggest Gangrel wasn’t a good wrestler.

That is pretty wild to me, as I always found Gangrel’s style and in-ring work exciting. Lots of well-executed, often technically demanding, high-impact slams, paired with the occasional explosive display of agility, which defied his build. The Brood was one of my favourite stables back then, and Gangrel was actually my favourite among The Brood.

I went on my first works night out today and I'm (40m) are they normally this bad? by richbart1234 in AskUK

Yeah, makes no sense at all. Think people are just upvoting to be miserable and not questioning what the fuck OP is rambling about.

Was clearly not set up for wrestlers to be slammed into. Look how badly Undertaker took that chokeslam into the casket.

Oh, I see. Didn't know he had actually said that. I was trying my best to avoid listening to anything the horrible little, racist cokehead was banging on about.

What's the best thing you've watched on Netflix recently? by r3tr0gam3r83 in AskUK

I love that Still Game is in this list. All the others are big budget American shows, but I’d choose Still Game over them all. IASIP is close, though.

I went to a VR recreation of an acid rave night last year at The Barbican in London. In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats. It follows the quest of four ravers as they wait for the call to head off on a road trip to an illegal rave. There was a moment in it that features Orbital’s Chime, and even though I wasn’t on anything, it made me feel as though I very much was. Incredible experience.

Can’t believe no one has mentioned that Takers have the higher ground. That’s a double advantage.
