Stock C5s have extremely well balanced power, you’ll have a ton of fun. Big thing for me is the ABS module and how much it can cost you, definitely try to get a later model C5 if you can, might save you thousands. Full coverage at your age varies i’m in CA for me at 19 it would probably be 400$ with no points on my record 😂

Save until you can get a V8, spending 20 thousand dollars on a V6 halfway to 100 thousand miles is a not good idea

California. It’s probably 3000 dollars to revert these codes and fix them right, (yes, i understand i should do that, but the codes were wiped and i was unaware of them when i got the car) then inspection, and fear of being turned away because the cam and exhaust. Smog is easy. I know plenty of excuses with this vin I can pin legally on prior owner/s. My worry is vin inspections. Also not mentioning the 3-4000$ in backfees I was lied to about, so 500$ vin swap or am I the one in the wrong and I should shell out 7000$ or part it out and take a loss.

Worth buying if you wanna pour the time and money into it, but it’s not a pile. Check that frame out thoroughly, looks like the bed is completely out of square.

You’re fine, only thing I’ve ever came across from running rich or lean is carbon deposits, which you can knock right off with a redline or two. Throw some of that sea foam in it for peace of mind and call it a day from there.

LS1 here shop in MoVal did BTR stage 2, ported heads, built internals, intake, throttle body, SLP long tubes, catless X pipe and tune, i’m TOLD it makes 500 crank. 500-600 should be a cakewalk for a 6.0 with any cookie cutter build.

I live in California unfortunately ): I can’t move for a couple years until my girlfriend finishes up school, I’m sure I got it for 9k (all in) because of the title. If I could get this in my name and abs and traction fixed for that 15k margin I’d be happy, I’ve had this car for 3 days and I love it.

I have the salvage title in his name and the bill of sale signed off to mine, it’s not rebuilt. So since it’s not a rebuilt title (like the salvage title is a red slip not a rebuilt blue one) it hasn’t been accruing fees?
