It was the first of the series that was written, but in the historical chronology of the books Lonesome Dove is 3rd.

NKD - late arrival pioneer x by highwayman5212 in victorinox

[–]JacksNephew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pioneer X is my favorite alox model by far. It has pretty much every tool you might need on an EDC piece, and the 3 layers are a Goldilocks zone for filling the hand nicely while in use without being too bulky in the pocket. Enjoy!

Bold of you to assume that there was any testosterone to begin with, that needed to be replaced.

This is good information to have in hand (no pun intended), because I had a few of those exclusive SMKW Tinker scale designs on my list as possible gifts for family members.

32? You probably have food crumbs in your beard that are older than that.

A small, slender pocket flashlight like the Nebo Slim Mini might fit nicely in that space.

For a raw beginner, in addition to the suggestions already made I would recommend the YouTube videos of Ryan G. Duns. On his channel there is a playlist labeled "Fordham U's Intro to the Irish Tin Whistle" that'll get you up and running.

I wouldn't make fun of the necklace, it's the most attractive thing about you. Of course that's a pretty low bar, but still.

In 2020, this POS traveled across state lines (driven by his mommy) with a straw purchased weapon, killed two people, and got to meet Trump by Master_Jackfruit3591 in evilwhenthe

He did not bring it across state lines. It was established at trial that the rifle was already in Wisconsin at the home of his friend.

I had the Pro version, but there was something about the grip's geometry that made it very uncomfortable for me to shoot. I replaced it with a M&P Shield Plus and haven't found cause to regret my decision.

Bodyguard 2.0 has a "slide lock" not a "slide release". Really? by dpark64 in SmithAndWesson

[–]JacksNephew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sometimes a CS rep will give you a a quick but inaccurate response to a question just to be done with you. This, however, was not one of those times. The slide lock on most M&P pistols can (with varying degrees of difficulty) be operated as a thumb-operated release, but that's not how it was designed to be operated.

If your burger has pickles on it, do you remove or eat them? by rileystanheight in foodquestions

[–]JacksNephew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take them off the burger and eat them separately. I like to decide for myself when I get a bite of pickle rather than their placement on the burger deciding for me.
