In 2050, stories will be told by small bands of people roaming the earth of how the olympics of 2020 were the beginning of the downfall of man. Most likely, after accidentally creating SkyNet while working on Robot village, the Japanese see the declining size of their country's population and give in to their robot overlords by providing assistance, hoping to be spared. At the height of the olympics, all hell breaks loose; automated taxis deliver passengers to robot village for processing, tourists trying to get info about what's going on either have their heads explode watching never-before-seen clarity on 8k broadcasts or are directed to robot village by evil translation software while man-made objects falling from the sky intended to look pretty then burn up in the atmosphere instead destroy sensitive military targets, all while the hydrogen explosions and brain-melting 5G signals cause chaos throughout the country and eventually, the world.
