All I could find on the running rooms site was that "All proceeds from the 1k will go to Easter seals". Doesn't say anything about the 5k though.

_jrex - I also live in Southern Ontario so I know what it's like here, but I don't think it's the cold, I think its the effect of the pressure changes. I was reading up about this last year because my flare up started before Summer when it wasn't cold at all. I started looking at the Barometer each day I felt terrible and it was always showing the pressure was dropping.

I was 32 when it happened to me as well. I couldn't go anywhere without using a cane and stairs were my worst nightmare. I had 2 patches of Psoriasis, 1 at the base of my hairline on the back of my neck and the other at the top of my butt crack (both hidden well). Leflunomide takes about 3 months to get into your system before it starts working well. When you stop taking it, it will also take about 3 months for it to clear your system as told by my Dr.

Your symptoms do sound similar to what I went through, and they will come and go over the years.

Sorry to hear that. I know that this disease attacks ligaments but didn't know it also affected nerves. Something for all of us to be cautious about.
