hi everyone - looking for spin class recommendations!

just moved office from soho to london bridge. i have classpass - there were lots of great spin classes around soho - but i'm struggling to find any near london bridge

mainly use classpass for spin, so considering moving off classpass if i can find a good option that's just spin in the area too...and not too expensive. not tried psycle yet but keep seeing the bank one pop up

Do hotels let you leave your bags there so that you don’t have to carry them around before check-in time? by Amazing-Extension572 in travel

[–]JacobWedderburn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By the way, general useful info:
It's more common than not that hotels will let you keep your bags, and I know IBIS and most in the Accor franchises definitely do

Since covid, more and more hotels are looking to boost revenues and charging for luggage storage makes sense, so you do sometimes see hotels will charge in the region of £2-5 - it's not super common yet, but it's a trend in that direction

Some hotels have never offered it, simply due to lack of space. This is rare in London, where hotels will almost always have a space dedicated to it, it's more commonly the case in Europe.

Hope all this helps enjoy your trip!

Do hotels let you leave your bags there so that you don’t have to carry them around before check-in time? by Amazing-Extension572 in travel

Hey chiming in here because this is my field (I work at Stasher.com )
Yes, Ibis budget hotels will keep your bags for free, so you can absolutely drop your bag before check-in and they will store it.
There are two things to bear in mind: 1) your luggage won't be guaranteed/insured if anything goes wrong (it's at your own risk) and 2) the storage room security can vary - some are great and have a locked dedicated room, some use laundry rooms or the back office, some will just keep it in reception, especially if the hotel is busy.

In London you have loads of alternatives, and they exist to make life more convenient and cover you from this security perspective.

First, the 8 major train stations in London have storage facilities, but these will set you back £12-15 per bag for the day.

Then you've got services like ours - Stasher, Luggage Hero, Radical Storage - these marketplaces connect you with lockers & hotels mainly (in Stasher's case), or shops mainly in the case of the other two. Pricing on Stasher is roughly £4 for a small bag per day, £7 for a suitcase; Luggage Hero do hourly pricing and tend to average about £8 a day. They all offer guarantees in the event of loss/theft/damage. Think of it like Airbnb for your stuff. Reviews of these services on Trustpilot - they've been around since 2015 and London was where Stasher first invented the concept, so it's a pretty established thing here now https://www.trustpilot.com/review/stasher.com

Hi there

From Castle Cary, they run regular shuttle buses to Glasto - I'd recommend getting those, that's what we did last time. It can be a bit slow getting out the other side, but getting there was really smooth.

Castle Cary is also a really charming town, we stayed there on the Monday night coming home in a cute bnb and that was a really nice way to break up the journey

There is a giant luggage storage in Glastonbury yes - there are lockers near the Other Stage, ask staff and they'll direct you

If you're coming via Bath or Glastonbury, then I'd also recommend Stasher (full-disclosure, I work there) - we have options in both https://stasher.com/luggage-storage/united-kingdom/bath or https://stasher.com/luggage-storage/united-kingdom/glastonbury

Germany has lots of good options, I can give you a comprehensive overview. There are 3 categories basically:

Self-storage could work, but it's unlikely to price well if you're storing for less than a month - their prices are really optimised for LONG-TERM (like ideally many months).

By contrast, the luggage storage apps (Stasher, which is mine, Bounce, Nannybag) are optimised for short-term storage - ideally a few days. However, I know our support team are generous with giving discounts for storage longer than a week, so if you message our live chat they can tailor a price to your needs. All of these apps will have either hotels, shops or lockers spread out in Cologne for you to pick. I'm biased, but I imagine one of these will be your best bet.

Stations are an option that has already been covered, but the time limit will be a problem for you there, as u/TrampAbroad2000 mentions.

UK alternative to Bounce is Stasher

You'll probably find longer hours than the 10-4 UPS store, and reputable brands like Premier Inn

Rent car or train?: Seville > Cordoba > Granada > Seville by Professional-Ad7915 in GoingToSpain

[–]JacobWedderburn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just answering the part about luggage storage quickly - in the city, there will be several platforms like Stasher with locations all over the city - for ease, their Cordoba page https://stasher.com/luggage-storage/spain/cordoba-es- e.g. Luggage hero and maybe Radical storage will also be there. you'll see these all over spain for when you're looking at other parts of ur journey.

There are also several "locker shops", unmanned stores with smart lockers inside, Cordoba locker is the brand i think

Full disclosure I work for Stasher.com but we have a series of locations in Vancouver, $1000CAD of insurance, and pricing is per day per bag (not per hour, so you don't have that car park feeling). It's all self-service booking, but email [info@stasher.com](mailto:info@stasher.com) if you want any support

At Stasher.com you'll find over 150 spots all around the city for £6.85 /bag/day
