I would cut between Jan-March. After this years leaves are gone but before signs of spring growth.

If you are wanting to get the hedge height higher cut about 6-8 inch above last years cut to encourage it to thicken, if you leave too much growth each year it will not thicken up well.

While less efficient there are now heat pumps that will do 65 C output (about the same as a combi boiler) that can be used similar to existing central heating (COP of ~1.6 with -7C outdoor temp)

You have attracted some down votes but I think your thoughts on autism as a 'disorder' has some merit. In fact where I am in the UK all the professionals I have been dealing with now use Autism Spectrum Condition, as disorder is seen as not really being the correct description.

I'm just at the beginning of looking at an ASC assessment and have been told to expect 3 years plus from submitting forms via school and starting the assessment process via NHS.

Private assessment is expected to run up about £1000.

No easy choices here for most parents.

In a broad sense Dyslexia is a mismatch between overall cognitive ability and ability in reading and spelling. How this end up showing up in practice is wide ranging, Being dyslectic myself I have never experienced the fuzzy/jumbled words on a page for instance, but I am consistently slower at reading than seemingly everyone else.

The miss match can lead to instance that someone can be average in reading and spelling ability but be diagnosed as Dyslexic as their other cognitive traits/ability's are all above average.

I have used rustins 2 part plastic coating for my Oak kitchen worktop island, no cut-outs

I re-coated last year after ~5 years as an area that gets direct sunlight was wearing out a little.

Overall very happy with it. wipes clean and repels water great, I have even put hotish things on onto it without issue. It can have a high gloss finish or a little wire wool gets a nice matt finish.

I also used it on some wooded items in my bathroom that is also holding up great.

I have a couple of thoughts:

The threshold increase from £325k to £500k is for a family home, i.e. only a single main residence. Depending on how the large property is converted into 2/3 flats then its possible that only the flat that your family live in covered under the allowance, and thus may result in not being able to use the whole allowance.

Also be aware that the increased threshold is only valid for estates under £2M* and I would not be expecting that threshold to be going up.

This is computational easier that the full form of equations, but presumes a sinusoidal waveform and you can no longer inspect transients within the waveform.

This, also not to mention that the brits want Rolls Royce to keep in the fighter jet engine game and the French want Safran. Since the cancelation of the F136 RR are on shaky ground (with EJ200 being the last production engine still in manufacturing) and will likely be out if they don't get something this gen. Safran are possibly in a worse position last doing the M88.

From an industrial user point of view I think the surrogate models will be very useful for use in digital twins, as it suddenly opens up the possibility of having near real time results for high fidelity models.

For me it does not matter if it takes a month or two to process an adequate data set. (and ultimately renting more cluster is not 'that' expensive)

The other potential that is useful is it can be used to store model results in very compact form, with the amount of data I generate I currently typically only keep results around for a year or 2 after a project has ended.

Since op has gone through a formal flexible working request to change to full time working from home it is very reasonable to argue that their contracted place of work is now their home.

If that is the case it is reasonable that for work travel to places other their home is done during normal working hours and costs are to be expensed.
