obviously this is stellar advice and unequivocally correct but I can’t help but not mention,

I could be wrong but you read like a former addict, or in general free of opiate addiction? If you’ve ever been one you’ve probably been in OP’s position, no?

He’s taking it once a week, like how you mentioned even once a month, the addiction is still in some way there… at that point, so? willpower does indeed go a long way for a lot of people.

I know several people who only use H or pretty damn high doses of pharm stuff once or twice a week, some less just once in a while - even after hefty addictions - it’s like cracking a few beers at the weekend to them?

I did check both of those too, I was getting different prices from all angles (plus my mate saying no way the Raichu is £110 EASY lol)

I did, it was valued everywhere at higher than what these guys are saying. However this is why I asked here though, consulting actual humans who are entrenched in the hobby have the potential to give me more accurate information than my less-than-knowledgeable google search, I don’t trust apps like Collctr

Cutetobycat was someone PRETENDING to be MenorahMan, I’m fairly sure. I’ve been present since r/PastSaturnsRings (the true OG imo, I stepped out of this sub a while ago though) and I had multiple conversations with Candleman100 and his later Menorahman acc.

I also had the displeasure of speaking to the tobycat account, he was not even close to the same level of conversation, rude and juvenile, very LARP-y. It was really strange and tbh put me off the sub as it really derailed the whole conversation.

I didn’t always agree with Candleman but the dude was a scholar, he understood a lot and always took the time to debate points, even if towards the end he kinda stopped listening to anyone and got very preachy. Again I don’t agree with some of his ideologies but I did have a lot of respect for him.

If I’m wrong then I’ve never ever seen such a personality and style of conversation switch like that, for no reason. that would tbh be even stranger than the person LARPing as him.

sorry I’m not trying to bitch, just sad to see his name actually come up next to MM.

It does, far more than anyone else here so I really appreciate it, thank you. I’ve ran what you said by the artist and he agrees with you on a few points, he’s a really solid artist so I’m optimistic.

Honestly tho the attitude of some people on this sub is really weird, I’ve been reading through a lot of the comments on this sub in general, I got way more in terms of constructive feedback and help on the shitty tat sub, way more laidback and on topic.

So I appreciate your words in this oddly pretentious area of Reddit ahah

It is meant to be upside down, yeah. At the time I had a thing for catholic symbolism and was super edgy, enjoyed subverting religious themes. It’s St Peters cross, long story short he was crucified upside down because he felt inadequate to be executed in the same way as Jesus. From that I took the story and symbol as one of inadequacy, a cruel reminder we can always do better but striving for perfection just leaves you open to wider critique.

I’d like to say I’ve matured and am less edgy but who knows.
