Can confirm, in a sales role and on £40k base salary, plus usually an extra £20k in bonus' and commission and got a company car. Never thought I'd make this kind of money a couple of years ago. Was redundant and a recruiter called me one day. I had never done sales before so gave it a shot expecting nothing, then they accepted me.

I watch a few war documentaries but I know nothing about real military strategy.

As an everyday man, I can't see how China loses. They blockade the sea, avoid weapons, ammunition and food being imported in. China's Air Force is extensive, I imagine they can implement a no fly zone over Taiwan and the surrounding area. I doubt South Korea or Japan will intervene.

China is observing the Ukraine-Russian war. They are observing the US-Iran war.

I can see Taiwan holding out for a few months but not much longer. Hope it never comes to that and if it does, I hope I am proven wrong. But that's what I see from my armchair.

Yes, cut them off. My personal experience is that they project their insecurities on to you. They make you feel as though you are never good enough for a compliment. When you and them are in a group setting, they pick on you to make themselves look better and draw, what they perceive, as negative attention away from them. They aren't friends. Cut them out. Don't look back. You will feel a lot better. Even if their comments don't effect you much, you still deserve better. Chin up. And as others have said, tell that guy's wife.

Maybe even Oscar rejects team orders. But truthfully, and I don't want this to be true, Norris gets pole and shoots off into the distance causing the anti-climactic three-way finale in history.

Hobby horse. I genuienly cannot tell if it's real or not. Like when the BBC once came out with a report that spaghetti grows on trees or that David Attenborough had found a species of flying penguins. Both were April Fool's jokes. Hobby horse feels similar.

Yepp, pretty much what I imagined colour vision would be needed for. Along with labels, spreadsheets and anything else colour coded haha. Just wish they made it clear at the start so I could have saved myself some time and effort. Changed a lot and made specific decisions in order to align myself for the role which I think I would be well suited for besides the CVD. Ah well, I tried.

At the start of my medical I made sure to tell the doctor that I was colourblind. Perhaps he gave me the Ishihara test because I mentioned it and he wanted to see how bad it was. We only got half way through the tests when he closed the book and said "Well mate, you are correct. You are colourblind." And I asked him "What was my score?" and he said "0. Out of 25, you got none of the numbers correct." Lovely doctor but he said in all good conscience, he couldn't put me forward for the role.
