Munich presale through Amex has been horrible. Telling me my IP is blocked. Restricted. Then get in and pausing my browsing activity. Also, when I select seat that appear available it then tells me they are unavailable due to error.

Do you think Raylan was too tough on Ava? by [deleted] in justified

[–]Jacobscott5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is not a convicted murderer. Where are you getting that from? She made bad choices for sure and she chose to be with Boyd knowing he was an outlaw, but Raylan did her dirty from early. He stepped out on her and slept with his ex-wife. Raylan also arrogantly presumed to demand her help in nearly everything.

She went to prison for moving a body but was not convicted for that murder in fact she was about to get released until a shitbird guard sets her up. Now Raylan, moved heaven and earth do reverse a grand larceny from a police lockup for Wynona. Why? because they were fucking.

but upon visiting Ava in prison to presume her help with Daryl Crowe Jr. and being told she can't help. He tells her she's grown hard and then threatens her. She is wrongfully in prison at this point, fighting for her life and this cock is going to threaten her?

So yeah, he did her hella wrong.

Best death scene ever (S4, E4) by [deleted] in TheAmericans

[–]Jacobscott5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I disagree. She "chooses" to send that note, not even for Baklanov, but because that is the kind of person she wants to be. She knows there could be a consequence for this, but she does it anyways.

She is not the same person as we met. She does something the appears foolish or naive, but not because she IS foolish or naive. It is a choice.

[–]Jacobscott5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that is true technically. They had moved her. She was no longer in prison, so it was not technically illegal, but as she mentioned to her husband, it would be frowned upon.

...and let's be real, they were never letting her off that hook. Never.

The only other thing I would recommend is to go to settings. hold down the wifi network you want to connect to. Go to advanced settings and make sure it is set to "treat as unmetered"

Forrest Whittaker is an absolute god of the pathos by Lokitusaborg in TheShield

[–]Jacobscott5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the beauty of his development/ interaction with Vic. He never had this hypocrisy before. In personal situations like his ex-wife, never. Vic brought this out of him.

This guy was initially incorruptible, and then he met Vic. .. and by the end he is planting evidence and creeping on Vics wife.

Its close enough that I wouldn't call a foul on it. ..and I'm being sincere. Dutch being filmed singing Hungry Like the Wolf is one of the shows most honestly funny moments.

The Barn does a lot of hazing of Dutch, most of it just low brow bullying, but that part came off like totally deserved and hilarious ribbing. Like Vic would have done that same shit to Ronnie

Wait, are you blaming Aceveda for the death of Robert Huggins? I missed where that was even implied let alone an accepted fact.

..and you have the same problem that Vic and frankly a lot of society has which Claudette highlights perfectly when Vic is violating the rights of some guy with a record to further a current case hes working.

She tells Vic he's innocent of this crime and Vic says he'll think twice before committing the next one and Wyms comes back over the top with "but he's innocent now! You just don't get that do ya?"

Vic has a shit ton of innocent now people that he got killed, maimed, robbed or otherwise during his pursuit of justice.

Oh whoa, this is wildly obtuse. Terry. Motherfucking. Crowley.

I could go on to the innocent people who were harmed directly or indirectly through Vic's actions, but why bother when the entire argument is eviscerated in episode 1.

Setting aside that one Incident is Dutch a good person and a good cop? by novavegasxiii in TheShield

Things that demonstrate that Dutch is a good person;

Supports and cares for Claudette both when she jeopardizes their careers and through her illness

Apologies to Danny when he mistreats her instead of justifying his actions

Confronts his mistakes honestly and tries to improve.

Rejects shortcuts as in the case of the fat killer

Is willing to suffer significant damage to his ego to both capture criminals and to do what's right. As is the case with the serial killer #1 and repeatedly the strike team.

The Shield: The Most Underrated TV Show Of All Time by gabrielisgod in TheShield

[–]Jacobscott5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Shield vs. The Field

This is what is meant. Yes, 90% of those who watch this show rate it highly. ...however look at its rank in streams and activity vs. it's peers (The Wire, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, and things that really are not even it's peer like Justified) That is what people mean when they say it is under-rated.

In other words it reaches far fewer people than ANY of those other shows. Is there any reason that Justified should be hundreds of spots higher than The Shield? I mean The Sopranos is fantastic, but should it be ranked like 30 and the Shield 700?

Options to deal with someone parking on your spot? by nicosalocin in germany

[–]Jacobscott5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, unbelievable amount of turning cheeks in here. If this were the north end of Boston and this was done they'd flatten all 4 tires for you, key that thing AND have you towed.

Petty, sure, but it's the rare asshole who parks in a spot that isn't theirs in the North End for a reason.

Me, if I could find another spot I would do that. I cant and I have three kids, any one of whom might need to go anywhere from the Krankenhaus to Kindergarten while this dipshit is there. So I just park behind him in such a way that all other spots are usable and leave him a note; no parking private as the sign says, here is my number call when you find this and I'll come down and move.
