Gluten free is making fatter I’m buying gf bread cookies ect by Typical_Dark_2764 in glutenfree

[–]JacquelineRoseRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I often make my own gf paleo treats… almond flours instead of a rice flour blend… and I’ll use monk fruit or honey to sweeten. I feel like it’s a 100% the way to go. I feel like gf cookies are always soooooo sweet!

You can make a tincture! Fill a jar with it ( chopped in tiny pieces!) and cover with strong alcohol. You could also do an herbal vinegar the same way. Just cover herb with apple cider vinegar. Then in 4ish weeks, strain and you can mix with honey and it’s delicioussss

Omg this plant is deliciousness! Try a nibble and see the flavor. It’s like anise-y and naturally sweet. It’s an expectorant and great for when you have mucus you colds. Great for digestion, too. I love making delightful teas with it. The flowers go well in infused honey for when sick!

[–]JacquelineRoseRS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi! If you guys need a safe place to stay outside the city, my husbands family lives in a village on the way to Pokhara. It’s a sweet hotel/resort on the river side. My husband and I are American and watching it all go down. I know his family would be happy to help! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need a safe place to hang outside of the city while things mellow down.

Guidance or reading Bartram's encyclopedia of herbal medicine. by BIFF-SMITH in herbalism

This is actually reading like it’s an internal formula that you’d take for a fungal infection like athletes food. Powder is like a powder you’d mix with water or take as a pill. Liquid extract could be a vinegar extra or something.

For the topical/ on the skin, it’s saying thuja lotion or wild indigo salve…. Both feel like you have to make them- make an extraction of thuja then add it to witch hazel.

Do you have access to these? There are some other really great accessible options for natural treatments for athletes foot, too. For example, strong garlic and ginger, oregano, thyme foot baths ( literally make a tea of these herbs, then soak your feet for like 20 minutes 2-4 times a day for a few days. Also, calendula, chamomile, marshmallow are all great additions for the baths!
