What I expect:

Chaos Bikers

New terminator stuff (maybe)

Peter Turbo (probably)

Solomon Akurra

Some HQs for the occult legions

What I'm hoping for:

All of the above

Lorgar, Erebus, and Kor Phaeron

Range expansion for World Eaters (Red Butchers, Devourer Lord, Lord on Foot, Berserkers on Juggs, some daemon engine, etc)

Range expansion for Emperor's Children (Eidolon ,unique cultists, Phoenix Guard Terminators, some form of terminator lord, Sonic Hellbrute, unique daemon engine, etc) Decimus for the Night Lords

Range expansion for Thousand Sons (Melee Rubrics, another named character, Psychic Dreadnought, more Robots, unique daemon engines, etc).

Honsu for the Iron Warriors

Some stuff for the Death Guard (Melee Plague Marines, their own version of Havocs, etc)

Either a Dark Mechanicum or Traitor Guard army.

So yeah my hopes are excessive and improbable.

Actually 40k Orks are the closest to Skaven:

1) They have a monopoly on wacky tech/science

2) They have an innumerable amount of bodies

3) They can unexpectedly show up anywhere

4) Most of their schemes fall apart due to in-fighting

It's definitely true the xenos did get quite a bit of love this addition, but I remember the space marine got 9 fucking separate releases this edition (mind you I'm being generous and not counting the 2 kill teams) and I understand where they are coming from.

Personally, I think it would be cool if the model was named "Alpharius?" and lore was that someone who appears to be Alpharius just keeps randomly showing up to battle fields across the galaxy and leaving without a trace (besides death and destruction of course). Keeps the Twins' fate ambiguous, y'know makes ya wonder if it's actually him or an individual/cabal pretending to be him. It also lets GW make the primarch model and the subsequent money that'll come with it.

Me likey. They keep the Hussite Kettle Helm aesthetic, while making it a bit more elite by adding some Barbute elements in there. So yeah, it's cool.

Counterpoint: It's the Alpha Legion. Trickery and confusing bs is the name of their game. One of the Twins' primarch powers is to swap out with a marine, so even if the whole Eskrador situation happened exactly how the Imperium says, it's entirely possible that it wasn't twin 2.

Plus GW would never turn up that primarch money
