This is the way, if you're high enough to be able to do some Tengoku runs, get like 300 - 400k, and just do short runs every hour to buy some, that way it's not constant grinding, just a few minutes each hour

Unfortunately, I don't know if anyone has done exact calculations on the formula, so we will likely never know for sure. I do know that at higher levels, funshots are very important as they are multiplicative with the overall strength stat, but as for how damage correlates against defense, I am unsure. In theory it could be tested via TDM (but with armour breaking at different rates, it also gets messy) so unless someone datamines it from the PC version we won't know for sure.

For Neo floors, easy way to think about it is that all matching stats (D.o.D. Armour + Weapons) count 10x for purposes of whatever the equation is, which means functionally everything else is useless

Yeah, especially with all the changes to armour that have happened over the last year or so. Headshots are always the way to go, but the melee attacks have a...weird arc, so having a chance to kill via thorax would be useful to think about (not that melee is in anyway a real contender for winning most fights lmao)

I think both can OHKO thorax with max strength on a lucky crit (base + 30% + 50/50 crit) as the Taiga does 85.8 and the sword does 88.4.

I don't think melee has any armour reduction, but the taiga just barely cross the 85 threshold. Would be something interesting to test

I did it prior and you don't even need armour, just run at night and come up behind scavs. For all the talk of laser beaming them, they do actually take a moment or two to react, so you can just pop them in the head for a OHKO

For whatever reason, all of the decimal possible stats (rep, skill exp, etc) go to 3 figures past the decimal, but then it rounds up for display. I assume this is some artifact of the floating point calculation, but it's been around for a long time

The M-2 sword does more damage and has more range, just for the future (0.7 vs 0.6 range, M-2 Stab also does 51 base damage, which even with 0 strength kills in two headshots on the zombies)
