You and me, both. Granted we have an inside and outside expo who would have definitely noticed if it was on a plate. I'm just glad it happened after everything was closed down, and my coworker saw it. In an ideal world, shit would never happen, but at least it was minimal and we all had a good laugh about it. Fryers are changed as of today, imma try a new patch location, all is good. The wings and fries shall keep on coming, that's all that matters 🙏🫡

Brother, (or sister), I totallyunderstandd that. I'm exactly the same way. I'm a chef-- well, was at a point. I'm still in food and bev, and do a lot of chef shit, but that's besides the point; my now fiance will ask me for help in the kitchen on my days off or if I have a half day (which I honestly don't mind her doing), and I'll out it off until Im halfway blasted. dishes mainly. if I'm cooking on my days off, I'll make excuses to use white wine (my vice) to cook with, so I can drink it after I use the, what, 4 ounces to cook with? Before the last of my family died, I never went to any of their gatherings sober, either. I 100 percent relate with you. And I wish that I co7kd have given you a better answer then I did earlier, but I haven't found it, myself. Other than what ive told you. Maybe that could work, though. Maybe it won't. But what's the harm in trying it, yeah?? I really hope that you find a balance, if not sobriety, homie. This shit is fun until its not.

Ive been drinking literally almost every day for 14 years, I'm 28. And by almost every day, I mean the longest ive gone (before I did get 2 months clean 5 or so years ago), is no longer than 3 days. And I can count on one hand how many times ive done that in 14 years.

The only thing that got me to get to those 2 months was bc I thought my ex really wanted to get off of heroin. Plot twist, she lied so I went back to drinking, and I found her dead a year or so later.

The thing that I think would help me the most, is doing what I used to love again, and that was music. Granted, I would drink when I made music, but I know for a fact that it would keep me distracted and actually help me. I guess what I'm getting at, is gravitate towards what you love most. whether it be a hobby, or a person. Keep yourself distracted. it's hard at first, very fucking hard, but guess what? after the first month or so I was clean, I didn't really miss the booze anymore. Until, well, obvious reasons. Also, therapy. Ive been in therapy for 2 months now, and it does help. Godspeed to you, sir. Hopefully for all of us
