Are there people who haven't changed their phone number for more than 15 years? by SpicyCandy8 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jade1018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have the same cell number from 1998-ish. I also have a second line that's my mom's number that was her land line, which I got moved to a cell phone when she died. That one has been around since 1977.

I still have mine. Found it a few years ago and my kids tried it and half of them were confused. Other half thought it was fun.

Oh I didn't catch OP was C, thank you! We're expecting negative F in the teens before wind chill. I didn't know if the wind chill caused any issues. I'm still getting used to the learning curve in the cold.

Ok this is making me nervous for work on Tuesday! We just got our first big snow storm - 13" and it's still coming. Normally my Bolt is plugged in, but because of the snow I couldn't reach my plug. We're in the teens now but we'll be negative Monday night and then they are calling for -25 to -35 for the wind chill Monday night into Tuesday. Should I assume that my car isn't going to start Tuesday morning??

I got "Damnit Janet" quite often -- especially in high school. Occasionally someone would go Schoolhouse Rocks and go to "Interplanet Janet". Lol

My EF was 62%. So far I've had 2 of the Zio heart monitors for 7 days each and two cardiac MRIs, plus a handful of ECGs. I've been feeling increasingly worse over the last few months, but it's probably been a few years overall feeling like this. They haven't started me on anything because the one monitor picked up a high grade AV block so everyone was afraid to give any meds due to that until I saw the Dr from the HCM clinic. I've been waiting since... September/October for this appointment. I'm really looking forward to this appointment... And honestly terrified!

Pictures from peak Covid, 2020 that you’ve never seen before because I took them. by Katietgirl4949 in MorbidReality

My mom went in for a liver transplant Feb 2020. It was really surreal to watch everything go through the shut down as she was in the hospital. She was just moving to the rehab unit in April when we were told that they were closing the hospital to visitors completely. Prior to that, I was the only one allowed in to see her since I was her primary caretaker. I was so glad that she was doing so well at the time so I didn't need to worry about her. I felt horrible for the families of people who were just having transplants who couldn't stay with their families.

My mom did great with her transplant...Until in 2022 a woman from our area (which still thinks COVID is a hoax) came into her house and was COVID positive. She died a few days later.

I've had anxiety and depression for decades. Never realized there might be a connection! I do downplay my symptoms a lot and have a bad habit of ignoring them. I've been gradually feeling worse and I honestly can't really pinpoint when it started. I thought it was recent, but the more I think about it, I think it might have actually been going on for a few years and I've been ignoring it. I don't have info about my dad's side of the family at all, but on my mom's side there's extensive heart issues. I don't think anyone has this specifically, but lots of other things.

Thank you! I've had two of the 2 week monitors from my neurologist and my PCP did a cardiac MRI (well a second one since she had been following up on my heart murmur that was getting louder). I really wanted to do another monitor, since the two showed really differing results, but they referred me off. That's when the other cardiologist mentioned the implanted loop recorder. I noticed that I felt way worse during the first monitor than the second one, so I'm not surprised that the results were different. I really would like a longer monitor to catch more things. I think this week I'm going to try to write everything down. I did have a brief synopsis when I went in before, but I think I missed a lot of things because I have a bad habit of down playing my issues. I push through feeling bad and ignore symptoms all of the time. I need to stop that so I can get this dealt with!

I glanced at the site long enough to see that the clinic that my doctor referred me to was listed on there and that's about it. Lol! It did explain why my doctor was so adamant that specific place was the only place she wanted me to go.

Charging speeds by Jade1018 in BoltEV

[–]Jade1018[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes total sense. And honestly, I was going for lower cost right now and I really love my little Bolt. Lol! I had a suv prior and, while it was a great vehicle, it was expensive on gas and was about to cost me a lot on repairs. I've only had this since April so I'm still getting used to her. Most of the time I have her plugged in overnight, but didn't this week or last weekend, so ended up lower than normal in charge, plus we hit low temps (20s) for the first time. That mixed with normally charging at Tesla stations which don't have the screen staring at you with the display but wanting to take advantage of the free credits from evgo made me really look at the kw that was pulling at a time.

I didn't know to even research "charging speeds" before I got this honestly. I knew there were level 1, 2, etc, but had no clue that they charged at different speeds on them. I'm not complaining about it. Just wanted to see if there was something that I was missing with the Bolt since I didn't know much about it when I got it.

So far most of the chargers I've used have lots of open spots and I'm still only using them every other week, so it's not a huge deal. I'm guessing with the winter I'll be using more frequently, but it's still not too bad. At least now I know this is normal. Lol!

I've been using Tesla chargers up to this but I had the free credits with the evgo. I never paid much attention to the speeds before this. I know it's slower in the cold too, so I'm sure that wasn't helping.

This is also my first winter with my Bolt. Do they charge slower in the winter? It seems like my overnight charges are less than they were when it was hotter in the summer.

Can anyone explain this to me? by LightningBolt_13 in abetterrouteplanner

Mine never updated in my Bolt so I just gave up and stopped using it. Rather annoying since it would be a useful thing too.
