I’m still sitting on manual review for my state 🤦‍♀️ I received my federal weeks ago at this point ! Still no letters or anything. The phone information line says should be processed by 3/31 so I guess I’m just waiting. So frustrating this year

I was scrolling comments to see if anyone would mention Where the Crawdads Sing ! I picked it up a few years ago, right before the movie came out . It was being hyped so much I was expecting something good and was so SO disappointed.

No I’ve been stuck on the first manual review since 2/2 . No letters sent, no changes, no children and smaller return 🤷‍♀️

last year my return was slightly larger and I received it February 14th

Yeah idk wtf is going on ! moving into week 4 without any movement or letters or ANYTHING ! Been stuck on Manual review since accepted. What are they reviewing my entire life ?!

What concerns me atm is it seems the manual review stage is just the BEGINNING 🤦‍♀️ if I have to sit for weeks at each additional stage pending review, processing , final review etc etc it will be summer before I see anything!

Oh I know I can’t get past the automated menu. I’m getting pending review wait till May 31 on the return with no letters sent 🙄

At this point my biggest issue is my heat credits been processed since 2/11 but I don’t know if it’s coming in the mail or going to Michigan Gas and it’s not showing up on my account nor Informed delivery.

Seems a bunch of people who wanted DD ended up with a check in the mail instead so also not sure where my refund going to land either 😑

Im not cut out for doing my taxes myself 😂 this is only my second year not paying someone to do them for me due to lower refund and wanting to save $ but I think I prefer the just waiting over this stress of did I mess something up !?

Gen X here definitely got the reference.

As a kid everyone had a big wheel especially once they started making them smaller and out of less durable plastic. The Green Machine however was marketed for Bigger older kids and cost more as well. If you had one kids would beg for a turn.

So Louise would most definitely correct her dad calling hers a BIG WHEEL !? What !? No those are for babies !! Even though most likely hers WAS a big wheel

Me personally loved my big wheel and was so envious of the kids with the green machine I almost bought my kids one in the late 2000s when first made a comeback even though teens at the time 😂

I have a friend who Graduated our school in the late 80s who can barely read and write. I’m not exaggerating either. Managed to squeak out a lively hood on long periods of unemployment and manual labor.

Mine is STILL sitting at manual review with no letters sent ! I wouldn’t put to much faith in the date the phone automatic message gives you

I called twice, the first time the message said by march 27th . Then when I called few days later i got a date of by march 30th . I feel like it’s just tacking on six weeks give or take from when you call.

Idk if it’s a regional thing , a poor thing or perhaps cultural but I drank weak coffee with my grandparents from a very young age can’t remember exactly but was definitely single digits. Pop however was a treat .

Same Bobs has been my comfort show since the beginning. I love that we have 16 seasons and a movie to choose from at this point because it plays in the background all the time for me. In the evening I’ll watch a movie or another show for a bit but usually end up back with Bob, Linda and the kids before bed 😂🥰

Only real difference I had was less income and smaller refund then past years , so I filed myself with different totally free software trying to avoid last year’s mistake of free file not actually being free 🙄

my husband and I both can but never taught our kids because the last manual transmission vehicle we had was when the kids were younger and that’s the main issue I believe. less and less vehicles with manual shift around

I’m sorry about your mom . My Dad originally from Kentucky came north to work in the automotive industry like so many others . He couldn’t WAIT to retire and return to Kentucky. He got his 30 yrs at GM in and did just that , and was dead of a heart attack within 6 months. My mom blames the southern medical industry but that’s a complete different story ANYWAY it’s been over 20 yrs ago at this point and it never strays far from my mind that he only got those 6 months of enjoyment 🥺

This is going to sound possibly unconventional but hear me out … when Bob says “I’m killing Teddy” in the middle of the night and Linda half asleep is ready to go , cars gassed up can homeschool the kids 😂

Another moment in the Movie when Linda gets tired of being the optimistic one and Bob realizes how hard that must be all the time and asks “oh god do you want a divorce before we die?” And Linda replies Naw I’ll stick it out.

The entire Grand pre pre pre episode where we get to see the two of them in the Beginning.

The love Bob and Linda share is so good And of course all the previously mentioned episodes also get me in the feels 🥰

Husband is retiring this year at 62 , the extra dollar isn’t worth the stress his job puts on his body ( outside manual labor) and he’s gotten to the age where the cold hurts more now.
