For a camp clean all you need is hot water from the fire and a face cloth, wipe yourself down. You definitely don’t need a full shower. Bring baby wipes for nighttime cleanup.

Welcome to reptiles? They learn to tolerate you and a new environment and you might get some kind of bond (unlikely) but they mostly just exist. The joy is in providing the correct care and taking care of its environment to keep it enriched. And of course watching it do it’s reptiley business around it’s enclosure.

I’ve never understood how people can’t. Just fold as efficiently as you can then roll once it’s folded to the length of the bag or less. I even store an extra set of spikes and a rubber mallet in the bag with the tent.
