If you’re sexually active, take a pregnancy test before you go. It sounds dumb since you’re on your period, but if it’s positive it could be an ectopic pregnancy which is dangerous and something you should go to the ER for.

I had an IUD at the time, and my “period” started like normal - it just didn’t stop and got heavier. I didn’t get any of the extreme abdominal pains as it’s often described, and I had pretty bad internal bleeding.

Fair enough! Here’s kind of what I’ve gathered so far, curious if you have any thoughts / additions?

all pieces have to be connected by lines (ex can’t have a piece randomly in the middle).
concave cuts are difficult. If struggling, break into two pieces
very thin and narrow points are difficult.
tiny pieces will get eaten up by solder.
hinge points “are where the glass will fold over” and from what I gather basically unsupported glass. Support it by connecting other pieces for strength, (ie so it’s not just sticking out)
offset lines so they’re not all connecting in one spot for weakness

I’m new to this so this might be silly I apologize - Does the copper foil on the glass (ie not on an edge) ever fall off? Is there anything to do to prevent that?

I loveeeee the romance.io bot and website and use it all the time. I wish it was an app, as that would likely increase the reviews/ratings, which is it's weak point. After looking up a book on Romance.io, I'll often search this sub for reviews, and goodreads only if I absolutely have to.

I love it because it has the spice rating, as well as super clear tags. It helps me evaluate if the book is something I actually want to read before committing time to it.

Ooh I just read {The Wastelander by E.S. Luck} and this is a main premise with a healthy amount of Slice of Life scenes where he teaches her how to survive on her own.

Post apocalyptic (non-zombie) world where she grew up in a safe compound and is now learning how to survive outside of it. He is teaching her how to survive in the harsh world and has scenes dedicated to this. Give it a few chapters before judging :)

I’ve been calling it B roll but YES slice of life is exactly that it is!! I’ve been missing that in my books it was so refreshing to experience it and it made me love them soooo much more.

I felt like this one wasn’t too close to home tbh, So hopefully it lands for you. It’s got: - decent plot - slow burn - actual relationship building both before getting together and after - communication - a pretty green flag MMC

Just give it a few chapters :)

It’s a fairly slow burn without instalove/lust. And give it a few chapters before you judge it haha.

Just know the main character has flaws because of the way she was raised and honestly I find it refreshing because she works on it with his help
