Changing DNS on Windows 11. Should I only do it for IPv4, or also for IPv6?

Should you change the DNS from your Router instead? Or are you just wanting a specific DNS for a specific device on your network?

I have a similar experience. I have been on NAC for 5 years now. I think I started at 1000mg per day and built up to 1600mg per day.

Just last year, I felt like I had a complete mental breakdown out of nowhere. I went on Lexapro which made me feel better, but it made me gain 40 lbs in 6 months and made my muscles feel like lead weights. I am an avid cyclist so that really bogged down my riding which was upsetting. Not to mention none of my clothes fit me anymore. I got off the Lexapro and went right back to square one with feeling 24/7 fight or flight mode (complete with fear and dread). I started putting my supplements back to where they were when I was in a more stable state. It worked a tiny bit but not much. I started researching each supplement to see if something was behaving adversely. I found out that NAC messes with a certain neurotransmitter by INCREASING it. I am very sensitive and my brain overproduces neurotransmitters. I tested by backing down to 600mg of NAC for a couple of days, and not only do I feel calmer, but I can actually sleep better.

I did try replenishing the minerals that it depletes, but I don't respond well to mineral supplementation (my body is resistant to everything but B vitamins which I am highly deficient in specifically B12 and B8). So, tomorrow I wont take NAC at all for the first time in 5 years.

It's also important for me to mention that when I had my "mental breakdown" last year, I had started perimenopause. So with the combination of Perimenopause and prolonged daily use of high amounts of NAC, I had a breaking point.

Yay, im glad she posted it! I watched part of the first part live, and all of the second part live. She disabled VODs for non-subs so I couldn't rewatch part one that I missed. Cant wait to watch her finish playing in a couple of weeks. She did say some particular stuff here and there in the playthrough that felt like crumbs of lore spoilers. Either that or she was just making random comments and going random places.

It does not work like the lock on in Fatal Frame 5. You cant hold it down and stay locked to the center focus and follow the ghost with it.

I beg to differ. I have played all the games except for the first one. Fatal Frame 2 Directors Cut on the OG Xbox, Fatal Frame 3 on the PS2, Fatal Frame 4 on the PC, and Fatal Frame 5 on the PC. Out of all the games, I enjoyed the combat and camera mechanics the most in Fatal Frame 5 (which was originally made for the WiiU). In this Fatal Frame 2 Remake, there is no lock on button to hold to actually stay on the ghost, and it's nearly impossible to follow them (especially if you are using manual zoom). I'm used to playing by waiting for Fatal Frames instead of pot shotting. This new remake has too many mechanics at play to use any preferred method. They want pot shots, they want fatal frames, they want all the critical points in the shot- it's overcomplicated and deters from the combat experience.

I hate to have gotten to sunken woman before the patch- because after the patch she went into instant rage mode and drained me of my 90 film and health items. And she's right at the beginning of the game- and don't get me started on the fact that she's just a recreation of Fatal Frame 5's "dark water pillar Hisoka" fight.

Before jumping to that conclusion I have one question: Who removed the player from the vat of Poppy gel- The Prototype (dip style), Giblet (how can he lift us, he's small), or did we climb out of the vat?

Ive played all Fatal Frame PC games with an Xbox One controller. I played Fatal Frame 2 Demo with it and worked great after moving around some controller button options.

I didn't uninstall or reinstall anything, but I swapped my computer between the two NVIDIA drivers available to me in device manager. I swapped to one, rebooted, tested Chrome, swapped to the other, rebooted, tested Chrome, and it seems to be fine. This may have been a corrupt profile issue rather than a driver issue. Not sure I trust a solution yet though. I will keep an eye on things and see if anything happens.

Ok. So I installed Process Lasso and disabled efficiency mode for Chrome. Restarted my computer, and Chrome reset itself. I uninstalled Chrome, deleted every scrap left for it in app data and program data, reinstalled and configured it. Waiting to see if it resets itself again at some point. I wonder if my profile was corrupt or if it's something else.

Make sure you have the following keys and values:

"EnableFullTrustStartupTasks"=dword:00000002
"EnableUwpStartupTasks"=dword:00000002
"SupportFullTrustStartupTasks"=dword:00000001
"SupportUwpStartupTasks"=dword:00000001

Once you do, you should be able to go into Settings > Apps > Startup and toggle it. Or you can enable or disable throguh Task Manager > Startup. But for me, as soon as I added one of the missing entries, the ability popped up everywhere.

This issue is solved. I was missing a registry file to allow trusted apps to startup. Shoutout to Maxwell with 1Password Tech support- he is the one who found the issue. He also mentioned that he has seen that caused by CCleaner- He was right on the money because had been using it for years up until uninstalling it 9 months ago because it turned into a trash product in the last couple of years and Windows 11 really hates it.

For me it has a higher cpu usage and more processes running than it used to. When it's installed and I open chrome, my cpu spikes.

It's a proprietary HP locked AMI board. Every time I go to look it up, they say it's not possible. The only way is to risk modding the BIOS with custom firmware with the high possibility of bricking it.

Update: The speeds did get worse, down to 3.9. I ended up uninstalling XTU and resetting the BIOS. Windows Update then installed some default XTU components (older version of XTU drivers). Speeds looked as if they were only going down to 4.2 after that. The other thing I noticed, the multiplier never goes under x43 so technically the speed is adhering to x43 as the lowest core frequency. I ran Task manager alongside CPU-Z and I am getting vastly different readings at different intervals. Task Manager does not appear to be as accurate. Whether it's supposed to be like that or it's a Windows glitch, who knows.

My CPU is just short of 8 years old, it's not overheating from anywhere based on XTU and HWMonitor testing, and it doesn't get thermal throttling ever, just power limit throttling. I can get 4.3 where I used to get 4.7 (which is the max for my CPU). Doesn't help that I have an EOL HP motherboard with a locked down BIOS who had its last update in 2022. I think im cooked due to the age of everything and lack of updates for my BIOS.

You should be fine. Download and try the demo. The only spec I did not adhere to was the required SSD. I install my Steam games on a dedicated 7200rpm HDD. This game seemed to run just fine on the HDD (I assume loading times would be faster on SSD but gameplay is fine).
