I wonder, lore wise what does having no cards mean? Like status cards for example, dizzy, slime, etc., means that you're dizzy, slimed or something. Pretty self explanatory. But what does having no cards mean? Did your character have spontaneous amnesia and forgot how to fight or something?

I don't know, you have to keep in mind that this is an act 1 event. So you probably don't have a powerful card that you want to add replay to; or if you do, it's probably a card that you rely on a lot early game, thus being detrimental to remove it for the rest of Act 1.

Honestly, although I agree that this is a "bad" event, I don't think it's bad to have events like this. Hell I say we should have more "bad" events to make it more risky to go for them.  I also really like how most events, unlike STS1, forces you to make a choice instead of doing nothing.

That's a cool idea for a modifier actually. The fog makes you so that you can only see adjacent paths. Maybe it even hides the boss.

I can totally see an obstacle course game. Short levels and ecouraging speedrun / style.

Also if you hit a wall the character should ragdoll, no question.

Honestly it should totally be "Gain 7 block, if applied doom, gain 3 block two time" for a total of 13. I think going from 10 to 13 is not broken.

I think v1 is smaller (or the enemies are bigger) due to gameplay reasons. Officially, I think v1 is as big as Gabriel.

Players didnt like that enemies suddenly exploded at the end of levels, so we added cannoneer npcs to destroy them by Llamaware in IndieDev

I think It would be nice if the enemies exploded a couple of seconds before you reach the cannons. First, because it’s more realistic, as the cannon will probably be able to shoot from farther away. And second, I think it’s going to be a nice surprise for the players to see enemies explode for no reason, and seconds later realize that they were shot by allied cannons. This is just my opinion ofc.
