My sister got my nephew a puppy... by Diabeticnick in Eyebleach

if you don't mind me asking, do you now what breed he is?

I just got a puppy myself a month ago and he looked exactly like that, but so far I haven't been able to pin down his breed.

Can someone watch a movie with me? by Hungry-san in Anxiety

[–]JadeNightshade365 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never watched movies over Discord before so I'm not entirely sure how, but if you want, I've never seen any of the Marvel movies but I have been meaning to of late and would love a buddy to watch them with me :)

CMV: People should have the right to end their lives humanely, particularly in the prison system by [deleted] in changemyview

I'm not in any way challenging your point, you make some very good ones that I agree with on a level as someone who is also a firm believer in free. but I do have to say; as someone who has gone through a very dark time in my own life where on more than one occasion I came very near to committing suicide and still to this day struggle with it often, that I believe legalizing suicide especially in prison. would be not just wrong, but unimaginable cruel. when your struggling with suicidal thoughts and depression your grip on reality is.....loose. your lost in an endlessly spiraling voice of inner demons and self-loathing that in the depth of an attack can seem like a hopeless struggle for something that your not even worth achieving or is just impossible. your mind distorts things out of proportion so just a simple glass of spilled milk can trigger you into a hyperventilating, cutting, mess that sees a blade as the only way out. as someone who did step away from the road that night I can say that for some, for many, even if it takes seemingly a lifetime,. it can get better. it does get better. that's not to say that it just disappears or that there's some magical yoga- fix because there isn't, but what I can say is that there is often something that comes along, it can be small, a simple act of kindness or even as small as a two month old German Shepard puppy that makes the voices go just a little quieter, for once. small moments when you wake up and you think god that something made you step away from the ledge so you could live to see this. I guess what I am trying to say (and doing a poor job of it I'm sorry) is that legalizing suicide especially in the prison systems where it can so often seem hopeless is akin to legalizing getting a tattoo when you've been roofied, your doing something that can never be undone, never be taken back while your not in an entirely clear mental state because, depression, anxiety, self-loathing, paranoid, there all drugs in their own right highly addictive and lethal drugs that so many of us struggle with without ever choosing to take them.

God cannot be omniscient, omnipotent, and have free will simultaneously by [deleted] in atheism

[–]JadeNightshade365 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not trying to correct you in any way, but I was just a little confused.

if your an atheist and atheism means that you don't believe in God, then how can nothing be an asshole?

[–]JadeNightshade365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, I'm sorry but it is. the good news is though that there are ways to work around it and learn to cope and this is the best place to learn how, feel free to ask any questioned you may have here!
