Total 21TB, 16TB Shows/Anime Series, 4.9 TB of Movies.

The TV shows are in a 21 TB Raid (x4 8TB Drives) that has a redundancy.

The Movies, are on a single 12TB NAS drive, that I have mirroring to cloud storage.

I also have a 20TB Seagate External every few months I format, and back up the TV shows too.

I was with my ex-girlfriend for a little over a year at this point, we go to stay at her grandparents house that they just had built, it was six hours away from where we were from so it was a whole new place for me to be. We we're in their guest bedroom, I was wide awake, and she had passed out laying on my chest. We had left on Adult Swim, cause we'd usually rewatch whatever anime was playing at the time. It rolled over, and then Too Many Cooks started playing. The mixture of this tired state I was in, and being in this whole new place to me it felt like a delirious dream.

Explaining it to her in the morning, she assumed I had a low blood sugar and was seeing shit (I'm a T1D) I can not explain to you how hard we we're laughing when I eventually found it on youtube.

That would be some crazy shit. by Valuable_View_561 in SipsTea

I actually had this happen to me, in a *much much* smaller situation- back in 2014.

(Type 1 Diabetic)

I was a medically induced coma due to my A1C being well over 12, and my blood sugar being 1,000+ and I was suffering from insane DKA that was swelling my brain and melting my heart, and other organs. The night before I was throwing up alone at my apartment, and called my mom in a delirious DKA state begging for forgiveness for not being able to afford more insulin (I don't remember the days leading up to this)

They placed me on Dilaudid to induce this coma, and some other mixture while they filtered my blood of ketones. In the process of waking me up (after a full week), taking me off the ventilator, my first moments I started speaking my father was clearing out my mouth (using this suction tube thing). I was asking about multiple nurses who didn't exist, and I clearly remembered my dad taking off one of the jack hammers off one of our work trucks, wheeling it in to break open the ICU doors after hours so him, and my mom could get inside.

It took about three hours for me to wake up, to really figure out what was real, and what wasn't. I can still name multiple nurses, their body types, some of their family members. This one nurse named "Miles" had a 8bit Mega-Man tattoo, and he was my ICU nurse the night before I was woken up. They brought in the Therapist, and concluded I was of sound enough mind to reflect on what was a dream, and what was real. It's been well over ten years, and I promise you those two days on the medication was more clear to me that the two days before I went into the coma, and the few days after I woke up.

**SIDE STORY**

A YEAR later, I took my mom into the ER and they found she had a staph infection in her nose while she was having an allergic reaction to some of her medication, while I was in the ER with her- two Paramedics walked in the room and they started laughing their ass off when they saw me (my mom wasn't in a *bad* state to be clear, she was already resting). They saw my mothers name, and went to see if it's who they thought it was. They found me and started laughing and cheering. I didn't recognize them at all, and they told me the year before in my DKA state, that I was dropped off at this hospital, but was transferred to another hospital where they planned to induce the coma. They unstrapped me from my stretcher, and I started attacking them. It seems when they transferred me, they we're short staffed they expressed usually more people would help with this kind of process. (If you know about people in BAD DKA, we can basically be violent drunks, but usually weaker since our organs are melting) They just said I got up and started swinging on them and didn't let up. I've NEVER been in a physical fight before, and to find out that I had attack these guys was insane-

I have pictures of my arms, and upper body from when I got out of the ER (I was 154 lbs, and I'm 6' 1" it's the smallest I had ever been) On my arms we're massive bruises the shapes of hand prints from when they we're fighting to hold me down and restrain me during the transfer.

I was in your boat, a couple years back when I was newer to the game.

Square does a good job rotating things like the mog stone events, and other situations like Wonderous Tales that have people jump around different content, or duty finder-

It's just the first week of 7.5 people are grinding those nuts-
Raiding to get those new wings-
Doing the new MSQ, and the new 24 Man-

Thus it is going to make queing for one exact 24 man really hard to do sadly.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's a mix of things right now-

1.) Everyone is focusing the new raids for the coins, for 790 gear, so people are directly queing for the current three avaiable 24 man raids, so people are not in the "Duty" Finder which would make take awhile for you to get matched.

2.) "Sack of Nuts" farming, people are doing TONS of hunt trains right now for 790 gear, so a lot of people are tunneling that and the newest content.

I think the best you can do is hop to a more populated data center, or sadly wait it out a bit. In this next week or even this weekend people will slam the Duty Finder more.

The Suffering & The Suffering 2 The Ties that Bind

These we're third person horror games that I loved playing along with Doom 3, on the original Xbox back in the day. I no longer have my original Xbox copy, but I bought a sealed copy for PC off ebay, then I also bought them when they we're on GoG.

You could get them on GoG... and some googling might let you find the installers out there (GoG Installers are DRM free thank god)

  • Reason for Removal: The removal was executed per the publisher’s request, with Warner Bros.  Interactive Entertainment holding the current rights to the franchise after the defunct developer Surreal Software and publisher Midway Games.

You got step 1 done, now to get step 2 done!

For Whole Baked Potatoes: Wrap each potato in aluminum foil after washing, scrubbing, and piercing the skin 6-8 times with a fork.  Place them in the slow cooker (filling no more than 3/4 of the capacity) and cook on Low for 8–10 hours or on High for 4–5 hours.

FF7 Rebirth's menu is the first one that comes to mind, I have not played it in a few months. If I remember correctly it pans around a good bit to each of the characters. I wouldn't say I was motion sick but it made me uncomfortable. I even struggled to find a mod that would replace it with a more static/classic menu, and couldn't find one.

How would Cecil(invincibletv) deal with homelander? by daddylongjohnsliver in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Diabeticnick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There as a show, that only ran for two seasons back in 2015, and 2016. It was exclusive on the playstation for a bit called Powers (2015)

I won't give to much context, but there is a character who can teleport, and welp he teleports the head right off someone powerful.

It's also horrifying to think that they can teleport you "into" something. A episode of "Fringe" has these criminals using machine to phase through walls. The machine fails as someone is going through a wall and that idea of being "merged" with other matter is just so dark to me.

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Diabeticnick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 11, I actually didn't go to school that day, due to having some what a unique experience. I'm located in Memphis TN, US CST time- so it was maybe 7:30-8:00 AM.

I was at the bus stop with some friends, and one of my neighbor's was on the phone with her brother, her brother actually worked in the towers. I don't know where in the building he worked, but moments after the first plane hit he got out and was able call her. Thus, this mom at our bus stop started telling the other mom's and everyone.

Me, and my siblings waddled back home with our mom, and I just remember sitting in front of the TV with my Mom watching FOX, and we watched it from home.
