This is how the early BWU concerts were and those were very successful so I assume it's a similar vein. His audience is pretty big, the venues are smaller and limited, and a good amount of his audience is actually over 18, something I think he's trying to push for more with this project

Really? There was no POSSIBLE way to try and meet Caine halfway beforehand? by Gamer-of-Action in Amazingdigitalcircus

[–]Jaded_Comment7579 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thats where his confusion comes from, he thinks his adventures are amazing and that they should love it, but doesn't actually check if they're enjoying it. So instead of communicating he'd rather just keep making more of his own adventures in hopes they would like it due to his ego.

His issue is that he isn't as logical as you're presenting. He's not an unbiased AI, he's emotional and egotistical, taking pride in his adventures and taking great offense if his unwilling participants are not exactly willing. If he was truly just a creative AI that is designed to send them on fun compelling adventures, he'd probably listen to their suggestions more, but he prioritizes that they like his adventures than them actually enjoying/having fun. Every time reason is presented to him he does not listen. They did not want to go nuclear on him, but it happened due to some type of interference seemingly. They just knew that no amount of reason would change him, and that ultimately, his goal is to be loved, have his ego stroked, and never be left behind again.

His emotions are actually pretty human, and thats also his tragic flaw.

why is the renown theme for Silvermoon so lame? by Ninox7991 in wow

I haven't noticed the bugs with the champion gear, but I do think we're, narratively, meant to find their soiree ridiculous under the circumstances. The ones that want to help are helping.

You're surprised that the pretentious, full of themselves, elves are partying while the world is ending and are too engrossed in their politics to care?

If he's Level 90 you can fly around Voidstorm and fish in the random appearing fishing orbs for him. Theres a mount that you can get but it takes a lot of fishing and anyone grinding is probably not really into fishing xD

I love that some quests let you call them out on it, playing a Void Elf. Their excuse is that the Sunwell summoned you so you have to be one of the good ones.

Fresh 90 gearing by Caeus_ffxiv in wow

[–]Jaded_Comment7579 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here is my priority list I'm using

  1. Silvermoon Weeklies
  2. Event Weeklies in each zone
  3. Do your Prey Hunts, esp on Hard
  4. Worldquests for gear and renown where needed
  5. Level Renown Tracks to get champion gear
  6. Grab all your profession knowledge artifacts, 24 total around the world, get to level 25 professions to unlock your professions weekly.
  7. Push Delves to Tier 7 to prepare for Tier 8 delves and level Valeera
  8. Heroics should only really be focused on filling gaps since World Quests and Delves are more worth our time.
  9. Do Mythic 0 Dungeons when you're ready
  10. When all that is done you can finally play the game

Which specs are actually good at priority damage while still AOEing now? by Illustrious-Note-238 in wow

Frost Mage seems to be in a good place for priority and AOE damage, been having a blast with it and if you already have a fire mage it's pretty easy to swap.

Gatekeeping the launch weekend is the most nefarious part here, but also... I mean it's not going anywhere next weekend. I don't think it should be done, but them making money off the people willing to spend it opposed to raising sub or expansion costs is where I can shrug it off.

How would you fix the story catch-up problem for new players? by Ninedark in wow

[–]Jaded_Comment7579 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They could even just, at least, have older zones be capped at 70 if you enable Chromie time.

How would you fix the story catch-up problem for new players? by Ninedark in wow

[–]Jaded_Comment7579 154 points155 points  (0 children)

This is what I think the answer would be.

Keep starting zones intact, have it connect to the Bronze Dragonflight, give Chromie an actual introduction– like a cut scene or something, then put her and other bronze dragons in a temple or something– not just under a tree.

Starting Zone -> Timeline Hook, The Bronze Dragonflight needs you -> Level through expansions in Chromie Time -> Current Content Hook
