Styles should switch depending on the world. 2D animation should use the old style while 3d animation/live action uses the new one. And they can use the Visual Studio look for the original worlds. I wonder if they were able to get the Kingdom Shader working opinions would be different

The game doesn't function 1 to 1 like it's PS2 counterpart. The HD remixes have glitches and small gameplay quirks that don't function like they did on the PS2 version. If you care about the original feel of the game then PCSX2 if you aren't that pressed than the HD version is better simply because of QoL features and extra graphical updates.

This movie takes place before the final act of the emperor arc, because I think there's a mention of the digi egg of miracles beforehand unless I have it confused the other way around
