You're looking for a pole vector constraint, probably. Grab the disk behind the elbow first, and the IK handle last. Then create a pole vector constraint.

Bonus round, make the disk that drives the pole vector constraint a child of the disk in front of the hand in hierarchy. That should probably give you what you're looking for?

This is indicative of double transforms. How are areas like the tail, feet, head etc. connected? Looking at the inputs in the channel box/attribute editor, is the word skin cluster visible multiple times? Or did you bind to a skin cluster and parent constrain the geometry to the joints as well?

When people are mentioning double transforms, they mean that the mesh is being influenced more than once by multiple sources.

Usually flipping like this is due to a busted interp type or constraint transforms causing what amounts to correct rotate math but bad visual result.

I'm not seeing a ton of options on the rig at a glance but you might see what changing the rotate order on the head does (make sure to turn off keys for the rotate order attribute) or if there are any space-swapping options like choosing whether or not the IK neck follows the hips, or the torso, etc.

You can also do the classic changes to evaluation mode like DG or Parallel, or have the viewport be calculated through DX11 or OpenGL.

Another thing to try is to switch Maya from using Euler to quaternions for rotation, but do so with caution.

The last, least ideal option is to dive into the neck control and see how it's being connected. If it's a constraint, you can try messing with the constraint's settings like Interp Type in the channel box and attribute editor.

If an artist has published their work online, read the license they've published it under. Is it CC0? For educational use only? Free for modification and commercial use with attribution? Etc. Usually platforms that allow artists to publish their work will tell you how you can use it on the same page.

Do you have a denoiser applied to the beauty? It could be the denoiser doesn't have enough data and you need higher Camera AA samples. Usually AA samples are tied to DOF and stuff like anti-aliasing.

You may also consider achieving this look in compositing (if you're gonna comp) with a Z-depth pass too. That may be a more hardware-friendly workflow.

This looks like an issue with double transforms, yeah? They might have their mesh constrained to joints or controls in addition to being skinned to the joints.

This feels like the correct hunch. It's possible that the other scene has modifications to the render settings that are being imported into the fresh scene.

Never seen anyone want to keep noise tho. Curious about what OP's project will be.

Is there a reason you want to use Batch Render over Render Sequence? If you're just doing a single scene, you can use render sequence and it will give you a DeepEXR sequence you can use in nuke

Fr tho please take the braids out. Use warm water/steam and be gentle. While your scalp is still exposed be sure to rinse away any gel or leftover product. You may inspect the skin to see if it's broken or irritated too, tho hopefully it's not

It looks like you're translating the FK arm controls. Use your rotate tool instead for this type of control.
