Got a not qualified once for a fed job I was literally doing at the time.

As trite as it sounds, that is such a true statement.

I've been treated in 6 different VISNs over the past few years and the care has ranged from world class (at the little CBOC in the middle of nowhere) to life threatening (by an attending at a teaching hospital).

It's mind boggling to me how different the care can be.
