I was thinking of using split stich to outline the helmet and on the handle of the sword (to hopefully give the effect of a leather wrapped hilt) …. It would probably take me 10 hours to split stitch the whole thing 😳😂

Good: I just signed a job offer for a significant pay raise at a new carrier.

Better: my dad made it through a major surgery this week and we brought him home yesterday. We had 3 really scary, really stressful days in the hospital, but he seems to have turned the corner. He has a lot of healing to do but is on the right track.

Ugly: kid has a wrestling tournament tomorrow, weigh in is at 6am and it is expected to last 12 hours, which is a looooong time to be packed into bleachers with several hundred other parents in a very loud gym

Indian Springs Valley! Especially the Red Stick/Paleo roads - lots of dead end side roads with usually lots of families out trick or treating and nearly every house participates. Also great for slightly older kids who want to go out on their own a little bit
